THE Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards return in 2025 for their 35th year, honouring the state’s top-performing exporters for their global achievements.

Delivered by Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ) in partnership with Austrade, the awards spotlight the businesses driving Queensland’s $134.7 billion export economy through innovation, resilience and international success.

Applications are now open and close on Friday, June 13.

Businesses may submit only one application but can enter multiple categories – 14 national and one Queensland-specific.

Before applying, businesses should consult the official Applicant Handbook, which outlines key dates, award categories, eligibility requirements, judging criteria and helpful submission tips.

To be eligible, businesses must earn foreign income, operate under an active ABN, and demonstrate a strong commitment to ethical business practices, including compliance with anti-bribery and modern slavery laws.

Exported products or services must include at least 50 per cent Australian content or value-add.

Award categories:

  • Advanced Technologies – IT, software, and digital innovation
  • Agribusiness, Food and Beverages – Agricultural, food and beverage exports
  • Creative Industries – Arts, fashion, design, and media
  • e-Commerce – Online sales in global markets
  • Emerging Exporter – Early-stage export success

Finalists will be announced in August, with winners celebrated at the gala event on October 10 in Brisbane.
