Police launch appeal after fatal Thornlands crash

Police are appealing for information after a fatal crash at Thornlands on Monday night (May 15).

Emergency crews were called to Cleveland Redland Bay Rd about 10.40pm after receiving reports that a blue Holden Commodore had crashed into a power pole.

Police say a man aged in his 30s, the sole occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

Police are appealing for anyone with CCTV or dash cam footage of the incident to come forward.

They are also appealing for vision of the car travelling through Redlands prior to the crash.
