ORMISTON College has cemented its place as a powerhouse in The Associated Schools (TAS) sporting competition, celebrating a standout year that saw the Redbacks’ girls’ volleyball teams claim championship honours and the College secure the coveted 2025 Overall Champion School title for the third year running.
The Redbacks’ dominance on the court was a highlight of the season, with the girls’ volleyball teams recording an impressive 36 wins.
The First VI team capped off the campaign in style, taking out the Premiership after a thrilling season that showcased both skill and determination.
Ormiston College said the success reflected the strength of its volleyball program and the depth of talent nurtured across all year levels.
These results are a testament to the hard work and commitment of Ormiston College’s players, coaches and the entire sporting community.

The girls’ volleyball triumph was one of several strong performances across multiple sports that helped the College clinch its third consecutive Overall Champion School title, reaffirming Ormiston’s reputation as a dominant force in TAS competition.
TAS is made up of eight leading co-educational schools across Brisbane and surrounding regions and is recognised for its high standard of competition, often producing athletes who go on to represent at state, national and international levels.
