TWO men have died in separate motorcycle crashes in Mount Cotton and Wynnum in recent days, with police appealing for witnesses to both incidents.

A 34-year-old Wellington Point man died at the scene after his motorcycle hit a stationary vehicle on Mount Cotton Rd about 5.20pm on Thursday, May 30.

He was thrown from the bike and struck by a northbound vehicle.

In a separate incident, a 74-year-old Wynnum man was killed when his motorcycle and a truck collided at the intersection of Wynnum North Rd and Pritchard St about 7.15am on Sunday.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating both crashes and is urging anyone with dashcam footage or information to come forward.
