Jingeri Park has achieved top honours at the 2023 UDIA Queensland Awards despite having opened just this year.

The park at Lendlease’s Shoreline community has been named the 2023 winner in the UDIA Queensland Awards for Excellence in the Parks and Recreation category.

As the first park for the master-planned community, Jingeri embodies the overarching vision of Shoreline by delivering the finest aspects of the bush-to-bay lifestyle.

Designed in collaboration with landscape architects, Vee Design and First Nations group, the Danggan Balun Aboriginal Corporation, the park’s stunning mural guides visitors through a narrative of cultural heritage while its centrepiece 8.5-metre lighthouse serves as a wayfinding beacon for the Shoreline community.

Located across from Shoreline’s Sales and Information Centre and the popular coffee shop LeToria’s at Shoreline, Jingeri Park has been designed with multi-age engagement in mind.

The lighthouse and jetty structure incorporate challenging play elements such as climbing walls, elevated platforms, swings, two slides, monkey bars, a sliding pole and nets for climbing.

The park also encourages more rigorous exercise for all age levels, offering an onsite basketball half-court.
