There is still time for the community to have its say on service funding priorities to help guide Redland City Council during discussions for its 2026–2027 Budget.

Mayor Jos Mitchell said the community’s feedback would be considered alongside other data in budget discussions that will start in early 2026.

“Council is conducting a short survey to discover what services community members think are most important,” the Mayor said.

“This includes seeking feedback on levels of spending on services such as local road sealing and upgrades to park infrastructure through to maintaining safe public spaces and community and cultural development.

“Information provided in the survey will help Council understand which services our community values most, and where they would prioritise future spending.

“This data will be considered alongside Council’s Corporate Plan, Financial Strategy and other supporting strategies to help prioritise funding for the 2026–2027 financial year.”

The survey is available online via Council’s Your Say Redlands Coast website and via postcards available at Council libraries and customer service centres.

The survey period has been extended. It will be open until Sunday 7 December 2025.
